3DFins mission is to bring to surfers worldwide completely new and advanced fin designs, concepts and materials with a much smaller carbon footprint than our competitors. Creating unique and innovative products that actually work is our passion. We are a company of surfers who are committed to pushing the limits of design and performance.
To back our claims and highlight the advantages of 3DFins products we have begun a partnership with one of the most exciting and innovative surfers on the planet today, JOSH KERR. Josh has committed to 3DFins because he rides and massively rates the advantages of the Dimple Technology on the MOONRAKERR fins and also believes that there is plenty to be achieved in fin design moving forward.
3DFINS are currently working on several other technically advanced innovations that when combined with our dimple technology will have the potential to completely redefine what is considered “cutting edge” performance surfing.
3DFINS is based in Western Australia. Designer and founder Courtney Potter lives and works in Margaret River where he is constantly researching and developing new and innovative fin designs. Working with Josh and a team of sponsored athletes, Courtney’s prototypes and “secret” designs are tested in all kinds of conditions from 1ft beachies to 20ft bombies.
This extensive R&D ensures that by the time a set of our fins makes it into your surfboard you can be confident that they are going to work and work good!
