These products use the band gap-tuned triple-junction thin-film silicon solar cells which are made from amorphous silicon and germanium. The cells adsorbs red, green and blue light through three different cell layers.
The thin film photovoltaic material encapsulated in UV-Stabilised, weather-resistant polymers. These modules are produced utilizing a thin stainless steel substrate and flexible lamination polymers which equate to a thickness of about 1.5mm. The laminates produce energy when the sun is low, through cloud cover and when installed at non-ideal angles.
